Enhanced YAR 87 “Scarab” M181 1.1.0
The YAR 87. Tough. Dependable. Unique. Kind of reminds me of a beetle. I love this truck, I think it’s one of my favourite trucks in Snow*Runner, but there are definitely a few things about it that I found pretty lacking. Honestly the big thing for me was the sound. It sounded really anemic, not at all befitting it’s exploration design. When I set out to tackle this mod, I wanted to turn the YAR 87 up a couple notches without ruining the way it felt, or breaking the game. It maintains some stock unlocks. I think I’ve hit the sweet-spot here with a few extra options labelled and priced to be lore-friendly. Changes over the stock YAR 87 include: Revised drivetrain pattern (now switches between R-4WD and A-6WD) Added 1° of rear axle steer (to assist in mud) Changed engine icon Increased fuel capacity Auto Winch + added New Raised and Active suspension options New lore-friendly top tier engine Modified sound profile featuring Voron Grad sounds and backup beeper CrawlerBox transmission added Increased tire selection (with custom tires coming in future patch) Tweaked physics No region/level lock Custom UI descriptions Added roof crane socket Truck now spawns with no bumpers Added visual and performance customization options Added ability to convert from passenger cab to cargo cab New paint schemes If you have any comments or concerns, please let me know. Enhanced Intl Loadstar 1700 “RockCrawler” M181 2.0.0
The vanilla Loadstar is an interesting animal. It’s a scout, but it’s a big boy. Not quite nimble enough to keep up with the CK1500, but not quite mean enough to play with the Fleetstar. So I figured, why not give it modifications that let it cover both bases? This is another one of my traditional Enhanced Series mods, with everything you’ve come to expect, with one little twist. Because the Loadstar is a heavy truck, I’ve given it the HD treatment. Changes over the stock Loadstar 1700 include: – More visual and performance customization options – Fleetstar and Transtar engines – CrawlerBox HD transmission – Tuned RockCrawler ultimate suspension – More wheels & tires – Changed sound set – Larger fuel tank to compliment the bigger engines – Ability to tow medium trailers – No region lock I recommend getting FOXCRF450RIDER’s Off Road Trailers mod if you plan lifting the truck in any capacity. Enhanced Voron Grad “WorkHorse” M181 V1.1.1 Mod The Voron Grad is another truck in Snow*Runner I wanted to mess with. Simply put, I really liked the design of the Ural Next and thought the in-game version could use some modifications. I’ve changed up the sound-set a little bit to make it sound less clattery, and swapped out the Cold-War era cranes for the more modern US set. I’ve also tweaked the positions of some add-ons and added a few more options. There are more engines more customization options, and I’ve also made the marker lights on the fenders work. Overall a small but fairly comprehensive tweak. Changes over the stock Voron Grad include: Increased steering angle and speed Handbrake on both axles Locked diffs Increased fuel capacity Heavy winch set with Auto Winch HD Truck spawns on Heavy Off-road Duallies Custom suspension set with 2 Raised and 1 Active options Modified sound set with CAT680 beeper and idle sounds Custom gearbox set with CrawlerBox HD Custom engine set with added RU Special engines More wheel options Working marker lights Truck spawns with no accessories No region/level lock Custom UI text and graphics More performance and visual customization options More frame add-ons and some in more forward positions New paint options Cleaned up code over stock I recommend getting FOXCRF450RIDER’s Off Road Trailers mod if you plan on using the new Raised or Active suspension options.
