Real Life & Bug Fix v1.0.0 Mod The mod requires manual installation. Do you see a towing hitch with your own eyes and can’t understand why your truck can’t attach trailers? Do you wonder why heavy trucks are so weak? Do you think that engine upgrades must make difference? Do you wonder why CAT 770g’s air filter sucks water that is 1 m below the air filter? If yes, this mod is what you need. Thanks to mod.io and SnowRunner community, we have a way to fix such issues. – This mod makes changes only to existing cars, new cars will not appear in your garage. Do not multiply entities beyond necessity; – Fuel capacities and consumption increased/decreased to real. – Western Star 6900 XD, Khan 39 Marshall, TUZ 420, CAT 770g, Chevy Apache can tow trailers. Install the appropriate bumpers for the Chevy and remove the spare tire from the KHAN to attach trailers. Thanks to @bASher1991 for inspiration he gave me: Snowrunnermods.com – Fixed issues with snorkel for CAT 770g and Pacific P12 (now water damages the engine only if the air filters are submerged); – Fixed spare wheels bug: now, what you see is what you get. You won’t see 4 spare wheels available with just 1 visible; – Increased torques of engines available for customization. Truck engine upgrades are effective now (applicable for the most expensive engine). Forget the lack of power for the Pacific P12, P16, and Derry Longhorn 4520; – For the Derry Longhorn 4520, engines are available only for heavy trucks (by default the engines were from regular road tractors), 54″ wheels are available (as in real life), the ground clearance is slightly increased by 1 cm; – TUZ 108 and 16 have new stock tires that make them look like real-life GAZ 33088 and GAZ 66; – Wheel offset for high suspension increased for scouts and trucks to make the scouts look more realistic and to solve texture issues for many trucks (including Western Star 49x’s lift axle); – Pacific P12: more realistic 61″ wheels available; – The mass of many trucks/scouts, as well as a pair of scout trailers, has been reduced to real values. If the default mass is lower than the real one, it is left as it is: low mass may be the result of “factory tuning”, and some models in the game are prototypes; – The length of the winch rope increased (excluding default winch): more money – more rope; – Increased asphalt friction for mud and off-road tires (only asphalt friction); – Substance friction, viscosity of dirt and snow, prices on parts, the required ratings and the need to look for improvements are not affected by this mod; Installation: 1) Go to the installation folder on your PC: SnowRunner> en_us> preload> paks> client, copy initial.pak somewhere to a safe place, this will be your backup; 2) Open initial.pak with WinRAR (the initial.pak in the game folder, not your backup initial.pak); 3) Open the SR_RealLife archive, drop the folder in the initial.pak (the initial.pak in the game folder); 4) Click OK; If you want to roll back to default – wait for the game update or replace initial.pak with your original backup file saved in a safe place. **Mod working on both normal and PTS version but new update will be made in couple weeks with the new PTS version. So be careful using standard game because it could stop working on my next update.** -You arrive by boat on an island in full economic development located on the west coast of Canada near Vancouver. An oil slick was discovered and an company decided to invest a fortune to start extracting and refining the oil. With this investment, the city decided to build a new port to be able to provide the perfect place to export gasoline tanks. Following this economic boost, several local businesses have also decided to invest, expand and update their facilities to be able to take advantage of these infrastructures. Travel through this ancient volcanic island, explore magnificent landscapes, fill as many contracts as possible and fill your pockets with cash while there’s still work to do! Z-4266 designed by me. This has been a side project for me and took around 2 weeks of daily work. My goal like always is to create a realistic trucks. Every single part of the model (interior, exterior, addons, tires and many more) and texture was created from scratch, with meticulous detail and lot’s of love. Welcome to METEOR: The Great Taimyr Impact! The impact of the meteorite, known as the Great Taimyr Impact, destroyed part of the Taimyr Peninsula in the early 19th century. The mysterious, radioactive meteorite has since lain in the soft soil of Taimyr. Attempts by the Soviet military to find and raise it in the early 60s failed. Since then, little has changed in this area, only nature has conquered this area – until now! Help Taiga Oil Company dismantle the crater, build a meteor base, and explore the many secrets and challenges around the crater! Collect samples, find more craters, expand infrastructure, and help local residents and businesses in the area accomplish their tasks. The Canadian Shield is one of the world’s largest continental shields, with an area of about 8 million square kilometers, mainly on the territory of Canada (eastern, central and northwestern). It consists of plates bounded by faults, with which the location of minerals is associated: iron, gold, copper, nickel, cobalt, uranium, lead, zinc ores, etc. This region consists of 4 maps: Highrock County, Muskoka Highlands, an updated long road (now Northumberland County) and an all-new map, Glen Huffy Rise, all of the map titles are real-life and located in Ontario. Attention! To start the region, you need to install this map and 2 more maps: Muskoka Highlands and Highrock County. In the region: – 2 cars at the start; – a lot of cars and trailers in orders and contracts; – 22 observation towers; – 21 contracts; – 63 orders; – 1 competition. Sandvik TH545i v1.0.0
The Sandvik TH545i is an articulated 45 tons underground mining dump truck. First mod and first experience with 3d applications, and game integration. Please be indulgent. I’m no developer, no 3D artist, no modder of any kind (the only application I use on a daily basis is Excel). I just decided to have some fun integrating a model I found very interesting into this game I love and spend so much time playing. The 3d model is paid, and has been purchased on Turbosquid from highly talented artist iljujjkin. Link to the model down below. My job has consisted in rigging the model, converting meshes, textures, writing xml files… But most of all getting to understand this world I know nothing about. HELP REQUIRED Plus, I’d like to get some help from other far more talented modders on the plateform about the following elements : Mirrors : Whatever I do, mirror reflection is flipped on both OX and OZ axes. Normals of the mesh are pointing towards the back of the truck and it has scale 1 and rotation 0. Unparenting it from BoneMirror_cdt and removing Skin Modifier and Vertex Groups has no effect. In the Class file of the truck ClipDir and ReflectionDir are set to (-1; 0; 0) which is supposed to make the mirror camera look backwards. See screenshots attached. Note that the version of the truck here presented does not have mirrors, for in their current state they do ruin the cabin view experience. I can add a second version with problematic mirrors if some want to have an in depth look into it. Truck sounds : for now all the sounds of the truck are set to those of the Cat 770G brought to the game with the Yukon maps of Phase II. The reason being I have no clue of where to find interesting truck sounds that I could use instead (apart from going on a construction site with a mic and recording myself). If some of you have ideas, i’d be pleased to hear them. FEATURES Whilst some work still has to be done, I’m quite proud of the progress so far and I wish I could have some feedback from the community to try make things even better. Detailed features : Sandvik TH545i articulated truck Optional tipper fully functional with 2 cargo slots Be careful though, not to add cargo while the tipper is raised, for it would appear in an unwanted position (as far as I know there is currently no way to fix this). Original tires and rims Switchable AWD, permanent diff lock Low profil chassis, designed to sneak into narrow mining tunnels As a consequence, suspensions are lowered and very (very) rigid Working lights, front and side venting fans, shafts, steering wheel. Collision boxes are intended to be as realistic as possible. Meaning that every mesh of the chassis collides with its environment. Gen 2 Doomstar V1.0 Mod
Gen 2 Doomstar V1.0 Mod Custom wheels by Quasimiyao and used with permission. Custom wheel set with one suspension and tire size. Added the top engine from the International 4070. Heavy winch instead of medium winch set. Seems that custom maps dislike trucks that are listed as mods pulling from the default winch/engine/ suspension stuff so until I get around to renaming engines and winches they won’t be available to buy on a custom map. Center of mass is balanced around having the minicrane equipped with the spacing between minicrane and cargo beds being narrowed to allow the pulling of a trailer at the same time.
