69 Tilt-Cab Special v1.0.0 Mod
Guess it’s time for my first resto-rig and the Tilt Cab Special is anything but your run-of-the-mill semi.
The theme is vintage recovery rig — meets modern performance.
This truck is a bit rare and definitely has a unique look. It was produced from 1966-71 by the manufacturer that rhymes with lodge (console-friendly stuff here).
BTW…the front brand emblem is intentionally misspelled to keep it console-friendly.
If the body looks familiar, it’s because the medium-duty cabover shares styling cues from ‘lodges’ iconic 60’s van/pickup.
While the hot rodders loved the look of this rig, it never really caught on due to its super-short chassis, poor handling, and build quality.
All that changes with is truck. It’s built-in a restomod style like all of my mods.
The stock cabin sits on a fully custom, wide-stance chassis to make it more stable on rough terrain and give it an aggressive look.
It’s powered by 5.9L 12-Valve diesel engine with either a compound or triple turbo setup.
There are a variety of tunes and tire specs to fit most styles of gameplay.
