[RORK] Kitadaito Airport – Japan v1.0

The air route connecting Minamidaito Airport is about 12km (8 miles) in a straight line and takes 15 minutes, which is the shortest regular air route in Japan. On days when the aircraft flies straight from north to south due to the direction of the wind, it may land as it is without retracting the wheels after takeoff. This airport is also the easternmost airport operated by Ryukyu Air Commuter. I plan to update when the building data added during the Japan Scenery Update becomes available. Barrowlands Ballroom and Barras market, Glasgow v1.0

The barrowlands Ballroom/concert hall and Barras market located in the east end of Glasgow I tried something a bit different with this one and the Neon sign on front of the ballroom lights up at night. (it’s just a polygon cut to shape with an emmisive texture applied but it turned out pretty cool) I also cut out all of the road polygons from the ripped google model so that it blends in a bit better with the scenery textures To install simply unzip the folder to your community folder. Austrian Airlines AG, sometimes shortened to Austrian, is the flag carrier of Austria and a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. The airline is headquartered on the grounds of Vienna International Airport in Schwechat where it also maintains its hub. As of July 2016, the airline flew to six domestic and more than 120 international year-round and seasonal destinations in 55 countries. and is a member of the Star Alliance. The airline was formed in 1957 by the merger of Air Austria and Austrian Airways, but traces its history back to 1923 at the founding of Austrian Airways. Throughout much of the company’s existence, it was a state-owned entity. On 31 March 1958, the airline performed its scheduled service, flying a leased Vickers Viscount from Vienna to Zurich and London; it subsequently purchased its own Viscount fleet. On 18 February 1963, Austrian ordered its first jet-powered airliner, the Sud Aviation Caravelle. It subsequently introduced various models and derivatives of the Douglas DC-9 jetliner; by the end of 1971, Austrian was an all-jet operator. During the 1980s, it introduced the DC-9-80, otherwise known as the McDonnell Douglas MD-80, to its fleet. Various airliners produced by Airbus, Boeing, Fokker and other manufacturers were introduced across the 1980s and 1990s. Throughout the 1990s, the airline sought out new strategic alliances, as well to expand its presence in the long-haul market, launching new services to China and South Africa. In 2000, Austrian became a member of Star Alliance; a few years prior, it had also joined the Qualiflyer Group. During the 2000s, the airline expanded through the acquisitions of Rheintalflug and Lauda Air and adopted the shortened Austrian name in 2003. Throughout the 2000s, Austrian sustained several years of losses; during 2008, the airline’s then-owner, the Austrian government, was advised to privatise Austrian via its sale to a foreign company. During 2009, the Lufthansa Group purchased Austrian after receiving approval from the European Commission following an investigation into the tendering process. Following its privatisation, both fleet expansion and cost-saving initiatives were enacted as the business was restructured; visible changes included route alterations, a new corporate design, and a revised aircraft livery. Following labour disputes over several of the cost cutting measures, all Austrian Airlines’ flights were transferred on 1 July 2012 to its subsidiary, Tyrolean Airways, which operated under the Austrian name. On 1 April 2015, after a new labour agreement had been reached, all flights transferred back to Austrian, and Tyrolean Airways was merged into its parent. During the late 2010s, restructuring of both its fleet and route network continued. On 17 March 2020, the airline temporarily suspended operations as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. US Forest Service infrared-scanning N149Z v1.0
liveries

US Forest Service infrared-scanning N149Z v1.0

Background on N149Z The US Forest Service uses infrared line-scanning aircraft to detect and map forest fires. King Air N149Z is one of the two fixed-wing aircraft that fulfil this role in the western United States. During the current 2020 fire season, the aircraft and its crew have been busy flying missions almost every day. The flightaware tracker shows recent heavy activity between Ogden, Utah and points in Oregon, Idaho, and Colorado. The aircraft even has its own twitter account that is used to announce the availability of new infrared imagery as it’s acquired, so that emergency response personnel can quickly get the data they need to evaluate fire events as they’re happening. The final photo in this posting shows the actual N149Z on the taxiway. About the Livery My take on the livery aims to be as true-to-life as possible. The actual N149Z is a Beechcraft Super King Air 200, a slightly older model than the 350i featured in Flight Simulator. For ATC, I felt is was important to keep the authentic tail number in-game, though its position is different. Due to a bug in Flight Simulator, the tail number color cannot be changed. Included in the pack are two alternate color schemes based on the same livery. A reversed version, white-on-red. And a version in the Forest Service green color traditionally used for the ground vehicle fleet. All liveries have been created from scratch using 4k textures, an improvement over the standard liveries. This is my first livery, and I’m proud to have put out my very best work right out of the gate. I’ve even added a small badge to the front nose gear: my personal quality guarantee. I hope you enjoy flying with these liveries as much as I’ve enjoyed making them. MSFS 2020 Liveries 29 Jan, 2021 MSFS 2020 Liveries 20 Sep, 2021 MSFS 2020 Liveries 25 Dec, 2020
