ENBR Bergen Airport – Flesland v1.0
Bergen airport, Flesland. The default airport in flight simulator is unfortunately situated on top of the border between an old and a terrible satellite photo. The ground under the airport also has awful elevation data (It looks like a crater when you remove the default airport). In addition to this, parking, apron and taxiways are based on old data from before the construction of the new terminal, but the visuals include the new terminal.This started as an attempt to cover up and correct these issues, and has evolved into recreating the airport using default 3D assets and some custom ground markings. This addon uses only default assets, except custom ground markings. Compatibility: Tested and compatible with Southern Norway lake elevation fix and Bergen lake elevation fix addons by henrikx. Features: Added grass aprons to cover up tear in the default scenery. Completely rebuilt aprons, taxiways, sloped runway, aircraft parking and vehicle parking Paint lines based on aerial photos from 2019. Taxiway names, lights, runway slope based on current AIP (2020). Some buildings added or replaced with other default buildings. Taxi works with ATC and AI traffic. Fuel box moved to GA area. Terraforming both on and around airport Added flood lights. Fence and barriers blocking taxiways to the old military area. Some ground clutter added from default assets. Note: Parking spots in GA area are unmarked and I’ve given them numbers in the 100+ range (North parking).The de-ice/cargo parking spots at taxiway U are marked 1-4 and I’ve given them parking numbers 91-94.Apron elevation is slightly different than default scenery which means you may see multiplayer planes taxiing above the ground in some places. This is made with the google maps decoder. All the gates, runways and frequencies work like before. I also added a lot of lightning so at night it looks nice.
