Colchester Reef Lighthouse
This add-on features the Colchester Reef Lighthouse located in Lake Erie south of Colchester, Ontario. The model represents the current steel skeletal structure with a helicopter landing pad, built in 1954 to replace the original 1885 lighthouse. The lighthouse stands on a cylindrical stone caisson and is operated by the Canadian Coast Guard. It serves as an active navigational aid with a focal height of 21.6 meters and a range of 5 nautical miles.
