XAP (Otto): an external autopilot that flies MSFS gate to gate

XAP Otto is an external Python-based autopilot for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, designed to manage flights from engine start to parking brake at the gate. It operates independently of the stock autopilot, offering improved altitude hold, aircraft-specific auto-tuning, and envelope protection. The add-on supports full flight automation including checklists, engine management, approaches, and diversions, with voice callouts and maintenance reminders. Ready-to-fly profiles are provided for the A2A Aerostar 600 and Comanche 250, and it is open source under the MIT license.
