Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6/trop, W.Nr. 16416.

This repaint for the FlyingIron Simulations Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 recreates the Bf 109G-6/trop, W.Nr. 16416, found abandoned at Soliman airfield in Tunisia in 1943. The aircraft was tested by US forces after being transported to the USA, repainted in standard US colors, and designated EB 102. Used for flight evaluation, it featured US equipment fitted in place of original German systems. The repaint accurately reflects the aircraft’s historical appearance during its time in American service.
