Welcome to the Rogue Valley, one of Oregon's many scenic treasures. There is a lot of wonderful flying in this region, with easy trips to the high desert, the coast, and the Cascades, such as nearby Crater Lake National Park. Ashland is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and KMFR is also a short trip up I-5, if you want to airport-hop.
