Fenris Cleaner V1.0
FenrisCleaner: The essential stability guardian for high-end systems. FenrisCleaner – High-End Hardware Stability Guard Do you have an extremely fast PC, but LS25 crashes at around 85% when loading complex maps or large mod lists? Then FenrisCleaner is the solution. The problem: Modern processors like the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D sometimes process data faster than the GIANTS Engine can organize its internal table structures (Lua tables). This leads to overflows and crashes. What the FenrisCleaner does: The loading pause: During the loading process, the script enforces targeted, microscopically small pauses in processing through high-frequency garbage collection. This gives the engine the necessary milliseconds to load character models and script tables stably. Intelligent monitoring: As soon as you’re in the game, the cleaner switches to monitoring mode. Every 120 seconds, the RAM is cleaned in the background to prevent micro-stuttering during long gaming sessions. Zero-impact technology: Despite its robust protection features, the mod is optimized to require no noticeable processing power during operation. It works fully automatically in the background. Target audience: A mod for the entire community Although this mod was developed on a high-end system, it is explicitly optimized for all players . Statistically, the majority of the community does not use high-end workstations – and that’s precisely why extreme efficiency was a top priority here. Low-budget and mid-range PCs: Thanks to the “phased model” (logistics) and the “gentle cleaning” (cleaner), your PC benefits from improved memory management. The mod helps prevent stuttering that typically occurs when too many scripts are trying to process data simultaneously. It’s so lightweight that it won’t measurably affect your FPS. Large mod lists: If you use many mods, your RAM will be heavily taxed. This is where the mod comes in to help, keeping the system running smoothly, regardless of your hardware’s capabilities. High-end systems: Here, the mod also serves as a “safety belt” to synchronize the enormous speed of the hardware with the GIANTS Engine. Autodrive Alma, Missouri V0.0
I created an AD course for the map Alma, Missouri. I completely recreated the map from scratch, as the routes I found were based on the map’s AI splines. However, these splines are completely unsuitable for Autodrive; the roads are far too close together, making reasonable oncoming traffic impossible, even on the main roads. Built-in with AD version 3.0.1.0, this version automatically creates intersections with right-of-way rules. For these to function correctly, Autodrive should be used with at least version 3.0.1.0. All loading bays and triggers for bulk goods are accessible with large equipment. Tested with a Volvo VNX 300 (hooded truck) and a Lode King Distinction Triple Hopper trailer. While small to medium-sized vehicles can access the small, inner-city production facilities that handle palletized goods, the limited space makes automated loading and unloading impractical. Manual intervention is required in these cases. The access roads to some fields are really tricky, especially for fields 17, 27, 31, and 33. I haven’t been able to design the access roads in such a way that automatic harvest removal works. Manual intervention is necessary here to position the trucks effectively. The fields have catch lines; where possible, I’ve added a second point to each field to allow spreaders and seed drills to be automatically loaded from a transfer wagon. Depending on the transfer wagon used, these two points may need to be adjusted relative to each other. The two outlying farmyards are accessible, but not yet inspected. Since farmyards are often remodeled, I didn’t bother to inspect the main farmyard in detail. The grain silo serves as the access point. Some more statistics: Break-in period 19.5 hours / distance covered 112 km / diesel consumed 534 liters. Up until now, I’ve only ever taken courses for myself; this is the first one I’m publishing.
