Tired of the hassle of cutting trees, dragging trees and grinding stumps just to clear the fields?
Annoyed with those ugly and worthless ‘ravaged trees’ that just add work without any due compen$ation?
So, getting inspired by a Roman Emperor from yonder I devised a method to eliminate undesirable things.
Behold the Nero Driptorch.
Get your Nero, find a tree you want gone, drip some ignited fuel and watch it blaze from root to treetop.
Caution: Nero will burn any standing tree, or any stump, within or without your lands. (I could’ve avoid it, couldn’t I? Nero wouldn’t.)
– Ignite and burn standing trees, either ravaged or alive, and tree stumps — root to treetop.
– Store it properly in your toolshed right next to your chainsaw or bring it with you for a quick use.
– Available in English, German, Portuguese, and French.
**Known issues:** if a tree was planted using the landscape tool, in building mode, a distant ‘ghost tree image’ will be visible after the burn due to the game’s redrawing schedule for such objects.
After a while or after reloading the game, though, those ‘ghost trees’ will be gone.
So, after burning a couple dozens of ugly ravaged trees, in order to get my village well kept, I listened to a voice…
It’s momma, asking me from Heaven: “Are working for free, son?!? Remember: Stupid is who stupid does.”
No, ma’am, never more… I’ll not waste time and fuel embelishing the village for free.
From now on, for every ravaged tree burnt, I’ll be paid.
No cigar for burning other trees, though… consider yourself rewarded enough by not having to cut and drag trees, and grind stumps to get all out of existence.
By the way, I moved the driptorch to the store’s ‘Hand Tools -> Miscellaneous’ department (It ain’t a chainsaw is it? No, Sir, it ain’t.), and limited the max number to be bought by a farmer to 1.
