Weight distribution With the SISU Polar Carrier, there will be no problem with the rear end of the car in terms of weight, as the technically maximum permissible undercarriage weight is 33.5 tons. The center of gravity has been moved considerably forward by shortening the front wheelbase by 50 mm, and thus the axle weights remain within the permitted limits. Frame structure and grille Carrier’s full-length double frame enables a structure without an auxiliary frame between the 2nd and 3rd axles, thanks to which the lower level of the grate and the center of gravity of the load are as low as possible. The distance between the 4th and 5th axles has also been shortened by 90 mm to achieve a gentler loading angle. A hole blade with a floating function is attached to the rear ramp of the grate. Axis functions The familiar 2nd axis printing and 5th axis pressure halving from the 5-axis SISU Polar Rock is now also available for Carrier. Remote control The work lights and the hydraulic rear ramp of the machine transport grid can now also be remote controlled. DER ERNEUERTE POLAR-INNENTRAGER BEWEGT JEDE MASCHINE JETZT NOCH EINFACHER. DIE NEUEN FUNKTIONEN FÜR CARRIER MACHEN IHN AGILER, LEISTUNGSSTÄRKER UND ZUM VIELSEITIGSTEN AUF DEM MARKT. Gewichtsverteilung Beim SISU Polar Carrier gibt es gewichtsmäßig kein Problem mit dem Heck des Wagens, denn das technisch maximal zulässige Fahrwerksgewicht beträgt 33,5 Tonnen. Durch die Verkürzung des vorderen Radstands um 50 mm konnte der Schwerpunkt deutlich nach vorn verlagert werden, so dass die Achslasten innerhalb der zulässigen Grenzen bleiben. Rahmenkonstruktion und Gitter Der durchgehende Doppelrahmen von Carrier ermöglicht einen Aufbau ohne Hilfsrahmen zwischen der 2. und 3. Achse, wodurch das untere Niveau des Rosts und der Schwerpunkt der Ladung so niedrig wie möglich sind. Der Abstand zwischen der 4. und 5. Achse wurde ebenfalls um 90 mm verkürzt, um einen sanfteren Ladewinkel zu erreichen. An der hinteren Rampe des Rosts ist ein Lochschild mit Schwimmfunktion angebracht. Achsenfunktionen Der bekannte 2.-Achsen-Druck und die 5.-Achsen-Druckhalbierung vom 5-achsigen SISU Polar Rock ist jetzt auch für Carrier verfügbar. Fernbedienung Auch die Arbeitsbeleuchtung sowie die hydraulische Heckrampe des Maschinentransportgitters lassen sich nun fernsteuern.
