Realistic Progressive Damage & Maintenance 1.61
Description: Realistic Progressive Damage & Maintenance Mod for ETS2
Compatible with ETS2 1.60+ | Works with all trucks and map DLCs
Overview In vanilla Euro Truck Simulator 2, mechanical wear is almost nonexistent during normal driving. Your chassis and cab will stay at 0% wear indefinitely unless you crash.
This mod overhauls the game’s wear and collision formulas to create a realistic, immersive progression system inspired by real-world commercial trucking maintenance schedules.
Key Features – Progressive Mechanical Wear: The engine, gearbox, and drivetrain realistically degrade with every kilometer driven. You will naturally need scheduled maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups, every 5,000–10,000 km.
– Realistic Tire Tread Lifespan: Irreversible wheel wear means you will need to purchase a fresh set of tires every 35,000–45,000 km.
– Chassis & Cab Suspension Fatigue: Simulates wear over long hauls on suspension air bladders, cab shock absorbers, bushings, and brake pads.
– Speed-Proportional Crash Physics: Minor parking bumps
