The BMW M5 E60, produced from 2005, is a high-performance version of the E60 generation 5 Series, known for its powerful, naturally aspirated V10 engine. It was the first production sedan to feature a V10 engine, inspired by Formula 1 technology. The E60 M5 was offered in both sedan (saloon) and wagon (Touring) body styles, with the majority of sales being the saloon.
