Improved Truck Physics

– Mod adds more realistic and hard physics for ATS trucks; – It is now more difficult to drive a truck, “feel” of the truck is increased; – Changed driver body movement physics, which is now less static; – Added five new modes for windshield wipers for vanilla and mod trucks (four intermittment modes, one long, one short) from 15 item list; – Lots of changes was made in truck behavior: 1. Changed cabin weight to a more realistic value; 2. Changed brake efficiency: less overall effectiveness an less effectiveness at low speed (but higher upper margin of “low speed”). Increased max. brakes temperature, increased warm up/cool down rates; 3. Decreased autocentering speed of steering wheel. Decreased truck turning ability; 4. Increased rotational wheel resistance and air resistance. Also, increased inertia – slower acceleration and stopping; 5. Increased clutch strength for more realistic clutch-transmission behavior; 6. Decreased retarder effectiveness; 7. Increased chassis suspension travel values for vanilla trucks; 8. Slightly decreased overall damping force for truck/trailer chassis suspension; 9. Transmission inertia decreased; 10. Added tyres slip possibility. Tyres a little less rigid now; 11. Increased flywheel resistance – RPM drops faster, when not in gear; 12. Increased intensity of engine braking – truck slow downs faster, when truck is not given throttle; 13. Decreased engine compression – truck loses speed more quicker, when no throttle is given; 14. Increased transmission resistance – more losses in transmission. 15. Real Physics and Suspension Behaviour

This mod changes the behaviour of truck suspensions and also modifies the interior camera movement. Whats New !? – Well in this version(v2.0) i have adjusted the overall mass of cabin and wheels giving more precise steering(especially on the short chassis); – adjusted the brake balance towards a more rear biased braking; – modified pitch and roll factor and damping for a more softer feel of suspensions; – air resistance is back to default value now; – thrust viscosity characteristics are scaled closer to engine torque; – adjusted transmission and retarder feel depending on engine rpm. RECOMMENDED SETTINGS for this mod to work best: Physical camera movement – ON Physical camera movement factor – Slider towards far right. Tested on ATS 1.1.1.3

DC-Western P579 + Trailer Skin Pack for ATS

Western Distributing combo skin pack for Peterbilt 579. All cab versions work with my truck skin. File includes my truck and trailer skins as well as the trailer itself. I decreased the weight of the trailer cargos to make them easier to pull with the P579. If you want to bump the weights back up, just open the scs file with 7zip or something and increase the cargo mass under the cargo definitions for each load. Tested on 1.1.1.3s Only 1 of my skinned trailers from Stewowe can be activated per game session. If you have any other of my skinned trailers, please disable before enabling this mod.
