Midwest Reefer — Reefer Unit Sound A reefer unit sound for refrigerated trailers in American Truck Simulator. Created by Midwest Reefer Transport of Lincoln, Nebraska, this mod is for anyone hauling chilled or frozen cargo who wants to hear the reefer running. How it sounds – Coupling: When you couple a reefer, the landing gear lifts, a short beep sounds, and the reefer unit starts. – While running: The unit produces a steady hum while parked and while driving, both inside and outside the cab. – Uncoupling: When you uncouple the trailer, the unit shuts down and the hum stops. – Loading a save: If you load a game with a reefer already attached, the hum starts right away. You do not need to couple the trailer again. – Traffic: Reefer trailers in traffic also hum, quietly and only when nearby. Supported trailers SCS Box reefer trailers in 28-, 45-, and 53-foot lengths, including doubles, from both the Freight Market and your owned trailers. No DLC is required. How to enable – Open the Mod Manager in the game and enable “Midwest Reefer — Reefer Unit Sound.” – Apply the changes, load your profile, and couple a reefer. Adjust the reefer volume in Options → Audio using the “Trailer noise” slider. Move it left to lower the volume or right to raise it. The hum is quieter inside the cab than outside. – To keep the hum playing while driving, the mod plays it together with the trailer tire sound. As a result, it replaces the trailer tire sound; the truck tire sound is unchanged. – Owned SCS Box trailers use the same chassis in the game for box, insulated, and reefer bodies. On an owned trailer, the reefer will run with any body. – After starting the game, the hum plays with any trailer until you have coupled or uncoupled a reefer at least once. The first reefer coupling or uncoupling corrects this behavior. – Outside the truck, the hum is barely audible when the camera is pointed directly at the front of the truck. This is how the game muffles trailer sounds. – Suitable for single-player and Convoy. Other players do not need to have the mod. – Game version: 1.61. Midwest Reefer Transport is a livery for a refrigerated trucking company from Lincoln, Nebraska. The mod adds new Midwest Reefer Transport paint jobs for trucks and trailers. It does not replace any other game files. What it adds – Trucks: Blue metallic paint with white “MIDWEST REEFER TRANSPORT” lettering on both doors. – Trailer: Two paint jobs are available, both with a white body and the company logo: – “Midwest Reefer Transport” — dark logo with a blue map and white lettering. – “Midwest Reefer Transport (light logo)” — light logo with a light-colored map and blue lettering. You can change the cab and body colors in the paint shop; the lettering and logo will remain unchanged. CinemaLife FOGLINE – Low-Beam Fog Lights Factory fog-light detail for supported stock ATS bumpers. This free public-test update adds the missing International LT and International 9900i configurations. Version 1.1.0 – Coverage Hotfix – International LT: Added 7 fog-equipped luxury, chrome, steel, and S13 bumper models. – International 9900i: Added 3 fog-equipped bumper models (A, B, and D). – Added low-beam lens activation for the new configurations. Existing amber markers and unrelated lamp data are preserved. – All 66 previously supported bumper model pairs remain unchanged. FOGLINE supports 76 fog-equipped bumper models and 152 paired hookups across 14 physically equipped truck families. All 19 installed SCS truck families were audited. An audit does not mean that trucks without fitted fog lamps gain new lamp hardware. Supported fog-equipped stock configurations – Freightliner Cascadia (2019) – International LT, 9900i, and LoneStar – Kenworth T680 (2022) – Mack Anthem and Pinnacle – Peterbilt 579 – Volvo VNL (Legacy, 2018, and 2025) and VNR Electric – Western Star 49X and 5700XE The inspected stock configurations for the Cascadia 2024, legacy T680, W900, Peterbilt 389, and Western Star 57X have no fitted fog-lamp lenses. Empty or capped apertures and amber markers are not converted into white fog lamps. Custom bumpers and third-party trucks are not automatically covered. Installation and controls Enable only the newest FOGLINE version and disable older local fog-light packages. Fit a supported fog-equipped stock bumper, then switch on LOW BEAMS. Parking lights alone do not activate the fog hookups, and no separate fog-light key is added. Mods that replace the same bumper models can override FOGLINE, or have their appearance overridden by it. FOGLINE is not a merged patch for third-party bumper, grille, or chrome packages. The separately installed current custom Pioneer fog wiring was left untouched. Original game and DLC resources are still required. Public-test status Built against ATS 1.62.0.14. All ten added native models passed independent conversion and readback. Archive, retained-resource, locator, UV/mask, and native-preview checks passed offline. Actual low-beam switching, night appearance, beam spill, and conflicts with installed mods remain untested in game. ATS 1.61 runtime compatibility is unconfirmed. This mod adds the Hänsch TFA 624 Dutch two-tone siren, used by RAVU/Visser Mercedes E-Class ambulances, to all three Road Trip Ford vehicles. Do not combine this mod with my other siren mods. Choose just one. This mod adds sirens only; it does not add any lights. You do not need to buy or modify anything on your vehicle. Just make sure the horns are bound, and the sirens should work. – H: Normal Dutch Hänsch TFA 624 two-tone siren – N: Intersection speeder tone Dependency: – Road Trip DLC I strongly recommend using the Crown Victoria Paintjobs mod. It is optional, but adds the police livery and lightbar. If you already use that mod, place this siren mod above it in the Mod Manager. Tested with ATS 1.61. Siren toggle fix 1. Close ATS. 2. Open this folder: DocumentsAmerican Truck Simulator 3. Open your profile folder and make a backup of controls.sii. 4. Open controls.sii and search for: Replace the entire line with: config_lines[358]: “mix horn `abs(long_press(keyboard.h?0) – memory(short_press(keyboard.h?0), !horn)) | semantical.horn?0`” 5. Search for: mix airhorn Replace the entire line with: config_lines[359]: “mix airhorn `abs(long_press(keyboard.n?0) – memory(short_press(keyboard.n?0), !airhorn)) | semantical.airhorn?0`” Important: The config_lines numbers may be different in your file. Keep the original numbers and replace only the text after the colon. 6. Save the file and start ATS. That should fix the issue. Sorry about that. If you change the Horn or Air Horn keybinds in the game later, ATS will overwrite this fix, and you’ll need to apply it again.
