[ETS2 edition] DESCRIPTION This mod brings more immersion to common sounds in the game. For over 7 years, this mod has proven to be an essential addition for anyone wanting an immersive experience. The Steam Workshop version is highly recommended for quick and easy updates, maintained for the current game version. The mod is the most safe on the Steam Workshop, having procedures in place for adapting to major game updates. COMPATIBILITY ETS2 1.47.1 + ATS 1.47.1. No errors in game log. Must have high priority in Mod Manager. Does not replace individual player truck sounds, so this mod can be used with an unlimited amount of truck sound mods of your choice. Compatible with all maps and all trucks, including truck mods. Supported in single-player and multiplayer Convoy mode, and is marked as an optional mod in Convoy. If hosting a Convoy dedicated server with this mod, it is recommended to turn on “mods_optioning” to prevent mod version restrictions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Requires higher priority in Mod Manager than: any map mods (e.g. ProMods) any AI traffic mods (e.g. Jazzycat’s traffic packs) any rain sound mods (unless proven to be compatible) FEATURE LIST The mod features dynamic and realistic sounds, covering the following: Extensive variety of suspension and tire bump sounds. Fuel / filling station sounds. Door close and seatbelt sounds after refueling. Train sound enhancements, including comprehensive sounds for some individual trains. Unique railroad crossing bell sounds for different locations. Real tire and road noise for all terrains: asphalt, gravel, grass, and sleeper lines. Nokia phone ringtone sound replacing the hurry up / late music, leading to less stress for the player. Default common sound reworks, such as improved default air brake sounds and a softer default reverse beep. AI traffic vehicle sound improvements, including sounds for Jazzycat’s Motorcycle Traffic Pack. English UK/US voice navigation variants with speaker effect added and no unrealistic phrases. Wind buffeting and rush of air sounds at high speeds only when the window is open. Additional environmental and ambient sounds, and tasteful changes to existing ambient sounds in the game world. Trailer coupling and trailer brace rotation sounds. Two standalone air horns. Softer mix for the Musical Road in American Truck Simulator’s Historic Route 66. Dynamic exterior and interior rain sounds, and an assortment of varying thunder sounds with delay. The default wiper sound may now squeak only when the windshield is dry. Default gear grinding sound effect additions and improvements. (Optional) Reefer / refrigerated trailer sound functionality that can be activated by trailer mods. For further realism, the mod may also add official colors to each AI traffic vehicle it modifies for sound, with rarer colors less likely to be seen.

Le mod s'appuie sur le son du vent pour transmettre le son du reefer. En raison de la façon dont les sons du vent sont optimisés, il ne peut pas supporter longtemps le son du reefer à 0 km/h. Cependant, les sons du reefer devraient revenir une fois que vous êtes parti. L'événement sonore s'arrêtera après le découplage de la remorque. Si vous souhaitez faire une pause et faire fonctionner le réfrigérant au ralenti ou en stationnement, par exemple lorsque vous êtes garé à un relais routier : Déconnectez et reconnectez simplement la remorque pour réactiver le cycle. This mod adds the definition files to activate the Sound Fixes Pack reefer sounds for reefer trailers by SCS Software. There are some trade-offs due to reefer sounds not being a standard feature in the game yet. Nevertheless, a lot of limitations have been overcome to allow more freedom and less hassles. Read below for details: 1. Enable this addon and the Sound Fixes Pack in high priority in the Mod Manager. 2. Ensure “Noise of the flowing air” is activated in the Audio settings and that there are no conflicting wind sound mods. Please note: The refrigerated trailer will beep and its engine will startup after coupling the trailer. The reefer will continue to run as you drive and you can hear the hum of it from the truck interior. The mod relies on the wind sound to carry the reefer sound. Due to the way the wind sounds are optimized, it cannot sustain the reefer sound at 0 km/h for long. The reefer sounds should kick back in once you set off, however. The sound event will stop after decoupling the trailer. If you want to take a break and keep the reefer running while idling or parked, such as when you’re parked at a truck stop: Simply disconnect and reconnect the trailer to reactivate the cycle. See compatibility section for what modes the functionality will work. For any owned reefer trailer, there is a workaround built in to the Sound Fixes Pack to enable the reefer sound as you drive. The reefer startup sound effect and the stationary reefer sound is not supported with the workaround option. Workaround for any trailer including owned reefer trailers: 1. Go into the Audio settings. 2. In the voice navigation menu, select “~ Function – Force enable reefer sound”. 3. Click the Preview button. 4. Select a different voice navigation option OR uncheck the voice navigation, then drive to hear the reefer sound. 5. If you want to turn off the reefer sound, detaching the trailer will work in most cases. Otherwise restart the game. Fully supported trailers: Base game reefer trailers Compatibility: Freight Market: Confirmed to work External Contracts: Confirmed to work. Quick Jobs: Can work, but you need to disconnect and reconnect the trailer to start the cycle. Ownable Trailers: Requires the workaround – sound can play only when moving.
