Newer License Plates 1.2 Place at a high priority in mod manager. Works with any map mod! All 48 mainland states now have updated license plates from the year 2025. NO MAP MODS REQUIRED FOR THIS MOD TO WORK. I created this mod for American Truck Simulator because seeing outdated 1990s-2000s license plates in-game was really bothering me. It’s 2025—most people don’t drive around with those anymore! After weeks of learning how to mod and developing this project, I’m proud to share the final product. I’ll be reading every comment on the Steam Workshop, so if you have complaints, questions, or suggestions, bring them on! I’m also planning future updates, including removing front license plates for states that don’t require them. Thanks for checking it out, and happy trucking! For further immersion, the mod may also include official paint colors and more authentic specifications for each AI traffic vehicle it modifies for sound. Rarer paint colors are less likely to be seen. CHANGELOG v25.41 Reinstated the vanilla game’s pumpjack sound effect, capped to 1 allowed instance for the sake of audio stability. This mod add or subtract certain cargo to certain trailers, read more below: All cargo in this mod are vanilla SCS, no custom cargoes or changes to pickup/delivery companies are made. Refrigirator: -Reefer trailers is now able to haul all food products as well as a selected group of non-food products, making the use of reefers much more versataille. Curtainsider: -Curtainsiders is now able to haul majority of general low value non-food cargo, including some cargo that was previously reserved for flatbed and sidewall trailers, making the use of curtains much more versataille. -Silo trailers is now able to also haul sugar and flour. Gravel, woodshavings and woodbark is removed from silos, you can find these cargos with walking-floor and dumper trailers instead. Dryvans/Walking-floor: -Dryvans has added more walking-floor specific cargoes, but because dryvans span across “walking-floor” trailers and “regular” trailers with sidewalls, player must make a choice themself if it is realistic to haul such cargo that is presented. -This is a compromise made to allow for actual use of walking-floor trailer by adding cargo to the pool that in real life is loaded onto “walking-floor”, but not a “regular” dryvan. -Quickjobs will sometimes spawn trailer paired with unrealistic cargo, the only con of this mod. -Ammunitions, fireworks and explosives are now only aviable with a dryvan. Foodtanker: -Milk is now limited to a range of maximum 300km from pickup location. Insulated: -Insulated trailers have less function because i removed some cargoes from their pool and not added more because this trailer type is fictional. Beware that this trailer with this mod will limit your job offers.
